An adequate blood flow through the MCA during carotid endarterectomy allows for selective use of an intraluminal shunt (or the decision to operate without it) and timely identification of cerebral hyperperfusion, vasospasm, hypoperfusion, and cerebral microembolism as well as recanalization of the cerebral artery, thus minimizing postoperative neurologic complications such as stroke or cognitive dysfunction.</dc:description><dc:date>2009</dc:date><dc:date>2024-04-19 09:19:38</dc:date><dc:type>Znanstveno delo</dc:type><dc:identifier>88384</dc:identifier><dc:language>sl</dc:language></rdf:Description></rdf:RDF>
