Given this high demand language mediation in such contexts often requires the use of untrained interpreters. Interpreter education and awareness-raising, both among interpreters and users of interpreters, are thus important steps towards quality assurance and professionalisation. In this contribution, we present findings from a multi-step user study among interpreting students and novice practitioners. The participants evaluated the usefulness of digital training resources that were developed in the Erasmus+ project ReTrans (Working with Interpreters in Refugee Transit Zones). Semi-structured interviews provided valuable insight into the strengths and weaknesses of these resources, particularly regarding key aspects such as confidence-building, the balance between theoretical content and practical applicability, and overall usefulness. These findings will contribute to the further refinement of the materials for broader application in interpreter education.</dc:description><dc:publisher>Znanstvena založba Filozofske fakultete Univerze v Ljubljani</dc:publisher><dc:date>2026</dc:date><dc:date>2026-04-21 20:26:39</dc:date><dc:type>Raziskovalni podatki</dc:type><dc:identifier>97877</dc:identifier><dc:language>sl</dc:language><dc:coverage>raziskovalni podatki se nanašajo na slovenski prostor na leto 2025 .</dc:coverage><dc:coverage>raziskovalni podatki se nanašajo na slovenski prostor na leto 2025</dc:coverage></rdf:Description></rdf:RDF>
