The study included scientific journal articles, conference proceedings, and doctoral theses published between 2014 and 2024. The results demonstrated the positive impact of background music on the cognitive and socio-emotional development of preschool children. At the primary education level, the benefits of using background music are related to reading comprehension, cognitive processes, and performance quality on written tasks.
