It is proved that the strong product of graphs is strongly distance-balanced if and only if both factors are strongly distance-balanced. It is also proved that connected components of the direct product of two bipartite graphs are strongly distance-balanced if and only if both factors are strongly distance-balanced. Additionally, a new characterization of distance-balanced graphs and an algorithm of time complexity ▫$O(mn)$▫ for their recognition, where m is the number of edges and ▫$n$▫ the number of vertices of the graph in question, are given.</dc:description><dc:date>2008</dc:date><dc:date>2015-07-10 15:07:26</dc:date><dc:type>Delo ni kategorizirano</dc:type><dc:identifier>51773</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>UDK: 519.17</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>OceCobissID: 25427968</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>COBISS_ID: 15079769</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>DOI: 10.1016/j.ejc.2008.09.018</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>ISSN pri članku: 0195-6698</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>NUK URN: URN:SI:UM:DK:E4TPOWHC</dc:identifier><dc:language>sl</dc:language></metadata>
