An element ▫$a\in R$▫ is said to be dependent on a mapping ▫$F:R\to R$▫ in case ▫$F(x)a=ax$▫ holds for all ▫$x\in R$▫. In this paper, elements dependent on certain mappings on prime and semiprime rings are investigated. We prove, for example, that in case we have a semiprime ring R, there are no nonzero elements which are dependent on the mapping ▫$\alpha + \beta$▫, where an ▫$\alpha$▫ and ▫$\beta$▫ are automorphisms of R</dc:description><dc:date>2004</dc:date><dc:date>2017-06-14 12:08:40</dc:date><dc:type>Članek v reviji</dc:type><dc:identifier>66194</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>ISSN: 0161-1712</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>UDK: 512.552</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>OceCobissID: 25648128</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>COBISS_ID: 13796360</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>DOI: 10.1155/S0161171204311221</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>ISSN pri članku: 0161-1712</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>NUK URN: URN:SI:UM:DK:OQQZ33RZ</dc:identifier><dc:language>sl</dc:language></metadata>
