To answer this question we prepared an experiment in which there were 42 participants. Participants were divided into two groups; the first group watched the film City of God, that was used for the experiment, at home, the second, watched the film with an audience in the cinema. At the end of the experiment, we compared the results from both groups. We found, that participants who watched the film in the cinema with an audience had a better film-watching experience. The results showed that the participants who watched the film in the cinema were more focused and paid more attention to the story, the characters that appeared in the film.</dc:description><dc:publisher>[I.
