Language mediation in such contexts often relies on untrained interpreters. Interpreter education and awareness-raising, both among interpreters and users of interpreters, are thus important steps towards quality assurance and professionalization. This contribution presents findings from a multi-step user study among interpreting students and novice practitioners. The participants evaluated the usefulness of digital training resources developed in the Erasmus+ project ReTrans (Working with Interpreters in Refugee Transit Zones). Semi-structured interviews provided valuable insight into the strengths and weaknesses of these resources, particularly regarding key aspects such as confidence-building, the balance between theoretical content and practical applicability, and overall usefulness.</dc:description><dc:publisher>Založba Univerze v Ljubljani</dc:publisher><dc:date>2026</dc:date><dc:date>2026-06-30 03:08:00</dc:date><dc:type>Znanstveno delo</dc:type><dc:identifier>98669</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>UDK: 81'253:314.151.3-054.73</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>COBISS_ID: 282000643</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>DOI: 10.4312/elope.23.1.151-168</dc:identifier><dc:identifier>ISSN pri članku: 1581-8918</dc:identifier><dc:language>sl</dc:language></metadata>
