20.500.12556/DKUM-11513 RAZVOJ APLIKACIJE SPEEDTEST ZA MERJENJE HITROSTI V OMREŽJU 3,5 G DEVELOPMENT OF SPEEDTEST APPLICATION FOR BITRATE MEASUREMENT IN 3,5 G NETWORK V diplomskem delu opišemo aplikacijo za testiranje hitrosti prenosa podatkov v smeri k uporabniku na tehnologiji 3,5G, to je HSDPA. Nato s pomočjo testiranja z različnimi mobilnimi telefoni in brezžičnima HSDPA modemoma komentiramo, ugotavljamo in navajamo razloge, zakaj dejansko dosežena hitrost prenosa podatkov v večini testnih primerov odstopa od teoretično obljubljene. Na koncu so dodane smernice za nadaljnjo nadgradnjo aplikacije. The final thesis describes the application for testing the speed of data transfer in the direction of the user on the technology 3,5G, which is HSDPA. To start with we introduce the reader with the chronological explanation of the development of mobile technologies and their functioning, respectively. Firstly, we describe the functioning of the application itself, which was made in the programming tool Netbeans, with the help of the simulator in the programming tool. Then with the help of tests on different mobile phones and wireless HSDPA modems, we comment, find out and present the reasons why the actual speed of data transfer in most of the test cases deviates from the theoretically promised one. Finally, we add the directions for further upgrade of the application. 3 5G omrežje UMTS HSDPA/HSUPA Netbeans programsko razvojno okolje aplikacija za merjenje hitrosti v omrežjih 3 5G 3.5G network UMTS HSDPA/HSUPA Netbeans software develop environment speed-measuring application on the networks 3.5G true true false [M.
