20.500.12556/DKUM-13574 IZBIRA ORODJA ZA PERFORMANČNO TESTIRANJE VMESNIKA UPRAVLJALSKEGA MODULA IN PROMETNI TESTI SELECTION OF A TOOL FOR PERFORMANCE TESTING OF MANAGEMENT MODULE INTERFACE AND TRAFIC TESTS V diplomskem delu je bil cilj performančno stestirati vmesnik upravljalskega modula, ki je produkt podjetja Iskratel, d. o. o. Performančno testiranje modula upravljalskega vmesnika je za podjetje Iskratel povsem novo področje. Promet, s katerim simuliramo performančno obremenitev, poteka v Simple Object Access Protocol protokolu, ki je značilen za spletne storitve (Web Services). Naloga je definirati metodologijo testiranja vmesnika in izvesti testiranje sistema ter preveriti odzivnost vmesnika upravljalskega modula pri povečanem prometu. Performančno testiranje vmesnika upravljalskega modula smo izvajali z izbranim orodjem Quotium QTest. Orodje omogoča izvajanje funkcijskih in performančnih testov spletnih storitvev. Orodje Quotium Qtest izvaja testne skripte, ki jih je bilo potrebno napisati. Testne skripte vsebujejo za vsaki test svojo metodo, ki smo jo imeli podano v izhodišču naloge. Testne skripte smo si priredili našim potrebam in jih izvajali. Za vsako metodo je potrebno izvajati test posebej. Rezultat naloge v podjetju predstavlja osnovo za nadaljni razvoj podobnih funkcionalnosti. The work of a diploma thesis was focused at performance testing of the interface management module, which is the product of Iskratel ltd. Performance testing of the module management interface was a completely new area for the company of Iskratel. Trafic was based on the SOAP protocol, which is characteristic of the Web Services. The goal was to define the testing methodology of the SOAP interface and to perform testing of the system and check the responsiveness of the management module interface at increased traffic. Performance testing of the module interface was carried out with the selected tool Quotium QTest. The QTest tool allows performance of the functional and trafic testing of the Web services. For performing the testing the test scripts needed ro be written. For each test, test scripts included a specific testing method,that was defined at the start of work. We adapted the test scripts to our needs and implemented them in our tests. Tests were conducted separately for each method.
