The diploma thesis discusses the topic of different systems for defining access rights. Additionally, a comparison of the leading file systems in the field of open source systems is given. We introduce an application for converting access rights from the Trustees format to the ACL format. Finally, a brief introduction of open source licenses is available. The goal of the diploma work is to develop an application for converting different formats for defining access rights called Trustee2ACL. We present its capabilities, usefulness and the placement in the area of defining access rights with GNU-based systems (Linux and other UNICES). The emphasis of the work is on the problem of transitioning from Trustees to POSIX ACL access rights. The field of computer security and protection is of vital importance for the individual, as well as for the business world. datotečni sistem odprto kodna programska oprema GNU Linux Unix Trustees file system opensource software GNU Linux Unix Trustees true true false [P.
