In the thesis we presented the history of cookies, the use of it, technologies for tracking website users like Etag, http location, http referrer and so on. We compared the technologies according to their characteristics such as performance, precision tracking, the complexity of technical implementation etc. We checked whether the cookie technologies are consistent with current laws regarding the violation of user privacy on the Internet, and how to achive compliance with these laws. In the end as the last chapter we created a table findings where we wrote down informations about tracking technologies such as utility problems, usefulness of cookies depending on certain situations. piškotki tehnologije sledenja zakon o elektronskih komunikacijah cookies technologies for tracking website users law on electronic communications true true false R.
