20.500.12556/DKUM-59885 ZASNOVA SISTEMA ZA PRIPOROČANJE ZA PLATFORMO UMB-SMARTTV DESIGN OF THE RECOMMENDATION SYSTEM FOR UMB-SMARTTV PLATFORM IPTV platforme razpolagajo s stotinami TV kanalov in velikimi količinami multimedijskih vsebin. IPTV platforms offer hundreds of TV channels and a large quantity of multimedia content. Consequently, users are more and more burdened with an amount of information they cannot effectively use. Users are offered help with their decision-making process via the use of various recommender systems. These can be used for recommending news, music, movies, restaurants, etc. In this diploma thesis we present those recommender systems and approaches in greater detail that are mostly used for recommending content which is deemed to be probably interesting to the specific user. Furthermore, we recommend the design of a recommender system for the UMB-SmartTV platform, based on the analysis of current systems. sistem za priporočanje IPTV metoda filtriranja vsebine metoda filtriranja s sodelovanjem UMB-SmartTV recommender system IPTV content-based filtering collaborative filtering UMB-SmartTV true true false S.
