20.500.12556/DKUM-63755 UVEDBA TANKIH ODJEMALCEV Thin client deployment Diplomsko delo obravnava tanke odjemalce in oblike virtualizacije. Predstavljene so možnosti zamenjave debelih odjemalcev s tankimi odjemalci v podjetju HIT d.d., Nova Gorica. Ti so bili izdelani s postopkom pretvorbe P2V (Physical-to-Virtual) in kloniranjem. Prikazane so nastavitve gostiteljskega in gostujočega operacijskega sistema. This dissertation evaluates thin clients and different types of virtualisation. The possibility of PC clients being replaced by thin clients at HIT d.d., a Nova Gorica company is considered. An example of a test structure of thin clients and virtual desktop deployment is given. The cost comparison of thin clients and thick clients with virtual desktop implementation has shown that the latter are more acceptable. Test virtual classroom with thick clients was configured. The thick clients were powered by the Lubuntu operating system with LXDE (Lightweight X11 Desktop Environment) graphic interface. The rdesktop program was installed onto the client in order to access the remote desktops. The RDP protocol was used. The server part is based on VMware ESXI with more virtual machines running Windows 7 operation system. These were made with P2V (Physical-to-Virtual) conversion and further cloning. The configuration settings of host and guest operation system are presented. · Tanki odjemalec · Debeli odjemalec · Virtualizacija · Virtualizacija namizja · Thin Client · Fat Client · Virtualization · Virtual Desktop true true false Slovenski jezik Angleški jezik Diplomsko delo/naloga 2016-09-15 14:53:12 2016-10-07 09:21:39 2022-07-03 03:06:48 2019-07-11 13:38:24 2016 0 Maribor 0 0000-00-00 NiDoloceno NiDoloceno NiDoloceno 0000-00-00 0000-00-00 0000-00-00 7743251 URN:SI:UM:DK:4P4OAGHV VS_Brecelj_Peter_2016.pdf VS_Brecelj_Peter_2016.pdf 1 46AFBEAF3AF206515340C7655646D78B ec067ba326a9583c3959a5797775f96e3b6e3f4ef34ab8992e8de1b47a6aa8d5 8d81ac7b-7c0d-11eb-bb7a-00155d0001ca https://dk.um.si/Dokument.php?lang=slv&id=105400 Fakulteta za organizacijske vede 0 0 0
