20.500.12556/DKUM-66700 Social-economic aspects of cybercrime The purpose of the study is to highlight the main issues of developing countries regarding cybercrime and examine the possible link between weak economic development and escalating levels of cybercrime. The findings were established on the basis of literature review, comparative studies and the synthesis of findings. The existing sociological theories of crime are not limited to traditional crime and may be used for the interpretation of its cyber version. By analysing individual sociological theories and the results of empirical research, we found that social-economic factors, such as GDP per capita, unemployment and education, are closely related to the incidence of cybercrime in different countries. This enables us to conclude that the relatively poor economic development is one of the reasons contributing to a higher incidence of cybercrime in Eastern European countries. By taking into account factors of different nature, one could increase the understanding of cybercrime and the possibility of adopting and implementing reliable preventive measures. However, this paper strives not only to understand the factors related to cybercrime, but also to raise awareness, stimulate a proactive approach and develop preventive actions in the fight against cybercrime. social-economic aspects cybercrime economic development kibernetska kriminaliteta gospodarski razvoj družbeno-ekonomski vidik true true true Angleški jezik Slovenski jezik Znanstveno delo 2017-07-06 10:22:33 2017-07-06 10:23:38 2022-08-01 13:04:10 2019-07-11 15:56:05 2015 0 0 str. 8-22 št. 3 Letn. 9 Sep. 2015 0000-00-00 Zaloznikova Objavljeno NiDoloceno 0000-00-00 0000-00-00 0000-00-00 1855-0541 343.3/.7:004 234841088 3183850 10.12959/issn.1855-0541.IIASS-2016-no3-art1 1855-0541 URN:SI:UM:DK:NCGZKKT5 IIASS_2016_Ilievski,_Igor_SOCIAL-ECONOMIC_ASPECTS_OF_CYBERCRIME.pdf IIASS_2016_Ilievski,_Igor_SOCIAL-ECONOMIC_ASPECTS_OF_CYBERCRIME.pdf 1 E8DED38F4502A44F8355F1468F106228 e7cfaf6def3aca44f3c7fbf690cacb99bd746156011726bd098cf5ea0e6556ee 5df4b1ae-7c0e-11eb-bb7a-00155d0001ca 20.500.12556/dkum/0ea8566e-4ba0-4cfa-a7c4-1a6b6304c5fa https://dk.um.si/Dokument.php?lang=slv&id=113762 http://www.iiass.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=1053 1 https://dk.um.si/Dokument.php?lang=slv&id=113761 Fakulteta za varnostne vede 0 0 0
