20.500.12556/DKUM-69946 Local governance and sustainable rural development Ireland's experience in an EU context This paper discusses the role of local governance partnerships in promoting sustainable rural development with reference to EU policy over the past two decades. Ireland’s experience is presented as an example. From the early 1990s on, new local partnerships associated with both EU and national approaches to rural development compensated for some of the deficiencies of weak local government in Ireland. Partly because of concerns relating to duplication of expenditure and democratic representation, the partnerships have gradually been brought more closely within the remit of the statutory local government structures. It remains to be seen how Irish rural development policy for 2007-2013 will be implemented within this changing context. rural development sustainability local partnerships governance Ireland EU European Union Evropa Evropska unija Irska podeželje trajnostni razvoj lokalna uprava javno-zasebno partnerstvo true true true Angleški jezik Slovenski jezik Znanstveno delo 2018-03-19 11:04:14 2018-03-19 11:05:10 2022-08-01 18:35:45 2019-10-05 03:12:35 2009 0 0 str. 53-64 št. 1 Letn. 4 0000-00-00 Zaloznikova Objavljeno NiDoloceno 0000-00-00 0000-00-00 0000-00-00 1854-665X 502.131.1:352/353(417-22) 229718016 251940608 1854-665X URN:SI:UM:DK:HHZNEHJK Revija_za_geografijo_2009_Cawley_Local_governance_and_sustainable_rural_development_Ireland_s_experience_in_an_EU_context.pdf Revija_za_geografijo_2009_Cawley_Local_governance_and_sustainable_rural_development_Ireland_s_experience_in_an_EU_context.pdf 1 9366CCC010CD56F1A48487165633546C e4e783102d36799bcdd0cacf8b840abced721c1d12bfbbe7b508f52e2e2f87a8 d3761566-7c0f-11eb-bb7a-00155d0001ca 20.500.12556/dkum/452bbd1e-7cc5-4908-b764-9772139efbb5 https://dk.um.si/Dokument.php?lang=slv&id=123243 http://www.ff.um.si/zalozba-in-knjigarna/ponudba/zbirke-in-revije/revija-za-geografijo/clanki/stevilka-4-1-2009/041-05_cawley.pdf 1 https://dk.um.si/Dokument.php?lang=slv&id=123244 Filozofska fakulteta Revija za geografijo 0 0 0
