20.500.12556/DKUM-70047 Grain amaranth as an alternative and perspective crop in temperate climate As a consequence of globalisation and industrialisation of agriculture, global food security has become increasingly dependent on only a handful of fertilisation and energy high demanding plant species. This involution has increased the vulnerability of agriculture, reduced genetic diversity, provoked some environmental problems and impoverished the human diet. The mentioned facts stimulate the retrieving of alternative crops into the production. The present paper briefly describes crop importance, botany, nutritional value and utilisation of grain amaranth (Amaranthus spp.), one of the alternative crops discussed in the book Organic Production and Use of Alternative Crops. The immediate objective of this paper is to present information gained as a result of a national project on grain amaranth. grain amaranth nutrition value utilisation poljedelstvo kmetijski pridelki žita zrnati ščir hranilna vrednost true true true Angleški jezik Slovenski jezik Oddelek za geografijo, Filozofska fakulteta Univerze v Mariboru Znanstveno delo 2018-03-29 09:39:20 2018-03-29 09:40:43 2022-08-01 18:43:41 2019-10-22 03:12:09 2010 0 0 str. 135-145 št. 1 Letn. 5 2010 0000-00-00 Zaloznikova Objavljeno NiDoloceno 0000-00-00 0000-00-00 0000-00-00 1854-665X 633.1 229718016 254216448 1854-665X URN:SI:UM:DK:XV6284BY Revija_za_geografijo_2010_Grobelnik_Mlakar_et_al._Grain_amaranth_as_an_alternative_and_perspective_crop_in_temperate_climate.pdf Revija_za_geografijo_2010_Grobelnik_Mlakar_et_al._Grain_amaranth_as_an_alternative_and_perspective_crop_in_temperate_climate.pdf 1 EF1512E525D924B7B8EAB65C2032E9E2 82cfcd1acf9a5403b78585ebcd05529650b63700bc345b2d2ecbdbdcfe389942 d8cac3d0-7c0f-11eb-bb7a-00155d0001ca 20.500.12556/dkum/f1d786b2-9be1-4bcb-bcfc-8e4cf5cd7212 https://dk.um.si/Dokument.php?lang=slv&id=123504 http://www.ff.um.si/zalozba-in-knjigarna/ponudba/zbirke-in-revije/revija-za-geografijo/clanki/stevilka-5-1-2010/051-12_mlakar_turinek_jakop_bavec_bavec.pdf 1 https://dk.um.si/Dokument.php?lang=slv&id=123503 Filozofska fakulteta Revija za geografijo 0 0 0
