In the master's thesis we explore the field of Internet of Things and ubiquitous computing, and we will describe Apple's smart home protocol HomeKit in more detail. We also review the competitive protocols SmartThings and MQTT and compare them with HomeKit. To demonstrate the proof of concept, we also implemented a prototype on a Raspberry Pi computer using Homebridge, an open source HomeKit server that we used to control lights and blinds. internet stvari pametni dom homekit avtomatizacija internet of things smart home homekit automation true true false D.
