Pri tem uporabljajo kar se da optimizirane komunikacijske protokole. V diplomskem delu se dotaknemo zgodovine večigralnosti v igrah, vrst večigralskih iger in predstavimo implementacije protokolov za 3 izbrane igre – Minecraft, Runescape in World of Warcraft. Predstavimo, kako protokoli vzpostavijo povezavo med odjemalcem in strežnikom in kako definirajo pakete za prenos informacij. Na koncu diplomskega dela s pomočjo eksperimenta predstavimo, kako se komunikacijski protokoli obnesejo ob večjih obremenitvah Modern video games offer multiplayer functionality for an ever-increasing number of players. To achieve optimal performance, they tend to optimize the communication protocols as much as possible. This thesis briefly covers the history of multiplayer video games and presents a list of currently popular multiplayer genres. In addition, we cover the implementations of communication protocols of 3 chosen games: Minecraft, Runescape and World of Warcraft. We mostly focus on how to establish a secure clientserver connection and define the packet structures used by each implementation. We compare how well these protocols function under increased workloads with an experiment defined in the final chapters. več-igralske igre komunikacijski protokoli Runescape Minecraft World of Warcraf multiplayer games communication protocols Runescape Minecraft World of Warcraft true true false [N.
