Ogledali si bomo plačljive programske pakete in primerjali njihove funkcionalnosti s funkcionalnostmi našega odprtokodnega programa. In this thesis, we analyze and describe the creation of a photorealistic 3D model of Neytiri from the movie Avatar in the open source software package Blender. We will take a look at the paid software packages and compare their functionalities with those of our open source program. The work includes a comprehensive description of the model production, which includes everything from the modeling of the rough shape of the model to the detailed production of textures. The subject of the study is a character from the film Avatar, known for realistic models that were ahead of their time. After finishing the work, we realized that Blender is an extensive program that allows the creation of models that are according to the standards of the film industry.
