20.500.12556/DKUM-85812 A novel autonomous vehicle-based storage and retrieval system with movable lifts This paper presents a novel autonomous vehiclebased storage and retrieval system with movable lifts (AVS/RS/ML) as an alternative automated warehousing technology to tier-captive shuttle-based storage and retrieval systems (SBS/RS). The proposed system aims to provide a costeffective, highly efficient, and adaptable solution for warehouse operations utilizing automated guided vehicles (AGVs) capable of travelling both inside and outside the warehouse. We simulate and analyse the system's performance based on its initial investment cost, throughput capacity, and average utilization of AGVs and movable lifts (MLs) under different warehouse designs. automated warehousing AVS/RS movable lifts with AGVs storage and retrieval sequences performance analyses avtomatizirano skladiščenje premična dvigala z vozili AGV zaporedja skladiščenja in priklica analize učinkovitosti true false false Angleški jezik Slovenski jezik This research paper is brought to you for free and open access by the Progress in Material Handling Research at Digital Commons@Georgia Southern.
