20.500.12556/DKUM-92408 School-based exercise programs for promoting cardiorespiratory fitness in overweight and obese children aged 6 to 10 The aim of this study was to conduct a systematic review of the school-based exercise programs for promoting cardiorespiratory fitness in overweight and obese children aged 6 to 10. Electronic databases (Web of Science and PubMed) were used as searching tools for collecting adequate studies published in the past 20 years. A total of 13 studies met the criteria for inclusion in this review, with a total of 2810 participants, both male and female. According to the results of this systematic review, overweight and obese children aged 6 to 10 who underwent certain interventions had their CRF improved. Furthermore, evidence suggested that interventions carried out during a longer period of time suggested led to greater improvement of cardiorespiratory fitness than a shorter one, but the level of cardiorespiratory fitness gradually decreases after the intervention. physical activity physical fitness motor competence children health monitoring and promoting sport sedentary behavior obesity well-being fizična aktivnost otroci zdravje športne aktivnosti dobro počutje true false true MDPI AG Angleški jezik Slovenski jezik https://www.mdpi.com/journal/children © 2022 by the authors Članek v reviji 2025-04-07 09:08:13 2025-04-07 09:08:14 2025-04-08 03:09:59 0000-00-00 00:00:00 2022 0 0 9 str. no. 9 Vol. 9 2022 0000-00-00 Zaloznikova Objavljeno NiDoloceno 2022-07-07 2022-08-27 2022-08-30 796.01 119735043 10.3390/children9091323 2227-9067 children-09-01323.pdf children-09-01323.pdf 1 E8F47DF5E4C8C851348F2395C3C54B32 fa6ca2517b552003a042ecbdefb8b22b1f4d78cd4d870ad7eb806a557e91fc79 7b1ce0fe-137f-11f0-9c98-00155d000105 https://dk.um.si/Dokument.php?lang=slv&id=190031 https://www.mdpi.com/2227-9067/9/9/1323 0 81f2d84b-137f-11f0-9c98-00155d000105 https://dk.um.si/Dokument.php?lang=slv&id=190032 Fakulteta za elektrotehniko, računalništvo in informatiko 0 0 0
