Prav tako smo opisali servisno usmerjeno arhitekturo (SOA – Service Oriented Architecture) in kako je UDDI pripomogel k nastanku ideje o porazdeljenih storitvah, ki sestavljajo poljuben informacijski sistem. Za register spletnih storitev smo uporabili BEA AquaLogic Service Registry. V praktičnem delu smo razvili dve spletni storitvi in jih objavili v reg In the diploma work we analysed and described the UDDI mechanism and the role of this technology when implementing modern systems, which are based on web services. We also described Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and how UDDI helps at establishing the idea of distributed services, which compose the whole information system.
