| Opis: | The diploma paper consists of a theoretical and practical part – diploma performance. The first part discusses folk music and its characteristics, and the character of ethnic choral music. Next is the presentation of folk music of the Prekmurje region and classification according to topics, including the presentation of melodies with a theme of love. This is followed by the analysis of the following songs performed at the concert, two of which were specifically written for the purposes of the diploma concert:

Ivan Florjanc: Zrejlo je žito (The Wheat is Ripe)
Egi Gašperšič: Speivaj nama Katica (Sing to Us, o Katya Dear)
Radovan Gobec: Ne ouri, ne sejaj (Don't Plough, Don't Seed).
The diploma paper rounds off with a description of preparations for the concert, performed by a project women's choir "Lasvica", and conductor's preparation for performance of the piece Beiži, ftiček! (Flee, Little Bird!). |
