Opis:	V diplomskem delu z naslovom Egocentrična omrežja študentov in problematika iskanja prve zaposlitve smo raziskali omrežja študentov Fakultete za organizacijske vede Univerze v Mariboru. Raziskali smo pojem socialnega omrežja, bolj podrobno egocentrična omrežja in kako se le-ta merijo. Opredelili smo tudi socialno oporo, ki je pomembna za samo razumevanje omrežij. Ker pa je del diplomskega dela namenjen problematiki iskanja prve zaposlitve, smo na kratko predstavili metode iskanja zaposlitve in stanje mladih na trgu dela. V raziskovalnem delu smo med študenti tretjega letnika na Fakulteti za organizacijske vede raziskali njihova egocentrična omrežja. Anketiranje smo izvedli maja 2015 preko spleta in sicer tako, da smo anketo poslali na osebne elektronske naslove študentov. Povprečna starost anketirancev je 23 let, največji delež je vpisanih na smer organizacija in management kadrovskih in izobraževalnih sistemov, temu pa sledita organizacija in management poslovnih in delovnih sistemov in na koncu organizacija in management informacijskih sistemov. Anketo je izpolnilo več moških anketirancev, in večina anketirancev že opravlja dela preko študentskih servisov, ki pa v večini niso povezana z njihovo smerjo študija. Približno polovica anketirancev namerava po uspešno opravljeni diplomi iskati zaposlitev, ostali pa imajo namen nadaljevati študij. V povprečju se anketiranci po pomoč oziroma nasvet, ali pogovor, o iskanju prve zaposlitve obrnejo na dve osebi, v večini primerov so to starši in prijatelji, s katerimi so zelo pogosto v stiku.

Opis:	Within the thesis entitled Egocentric networks of students and first employment finding issues, we have researched the students networks at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences University of Maribor. We have investigated the meaning of the social network, specifically the egocentric networks and the ways of their measurement. We have also ascertained the social support which is crucial for the understanding of the networks. As part of the thesis is dedicated to the first employment finding issue, the employment seeking methods, as well as the position of young people in the labour market are presented. In the research part of the thesis, the egocentric networks among the third year students at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences were investigated. We have carried out the web survey in May 2015 in a way, that we sent link to the the questionnaire to the personal electronic addresses of the students. The average age of the respondents is 23 years, the biggest proportion study at organization and management of human resources and educational systems programme, which is followed by the organization and management of the business and working systems programme and organization and management of the information systems programme. The majority of the respondents were male and most of the respondents are already working with the student services, but these jobs are mostly not connected with their field of study. Approximately half of the students who participated in the study intend to search employment after the successful defence of their thesis. The others however intend to continue their studies. On average the respondent students seek help, advice or conversation regarding the first employment seeking issues with two persons. Their support regarding conversations on job seeking are mostly either their parents or friends, with whom they often keep contact.
