| Opis: | Logistics encompasses transport, warehousing, inventory, packaging, and information management, with strong links to economic growth. Driven by Industry 4.0 and sustainability demands, the sector is rapidly evolving toward digital, smart logistics. As a result, a skilled, adaptable workforce is increasingly vital. However, gaps remain between required and existing competencies, especially in Industry 4.0, sustainability, and digitalization. Modern logistics roles demand technical, behavioral, and organizational skills. This study examines the readiness of logistics students and professionals, comparing self-assessments with expert evaluations and the needs of the logistics sector. It aims to inform workforce development by identifying skill gaps and offering recommendations for aligning education and training with emerging logistics industry demands. |
