Abstract:V magistrskem delu obravnavamo povezovanje digitalizacije gradbeništva in krožnega gospodarstva z uporabo informacijsko nadgrajenega 3D BIM-modela, kot osnove za pripravo digitalnih potnih listov materialov (DMP). V okviru študije primera smo obravnavali del objekta Kreativnega parka Drava Maribor.

Title:3D BIM Model of an Existing Building as a Basis for Digital Material Passports: A Case Study of Kreativni Park Drava Maribor
Abstract:This master’s thesis examines the integration of digitalization in the construction sector and circular economy principles, using an information-enriched 3D BIM-model as the basis for preparing Digital Material Passports (DMP). The thesis aims to present the process of digitalizing an existing building, identifying selected construction materials, and incorporating information on their properties into a BIM environment. Within the case study, part of the Creative Park Drava Maribor building was analyzed. Based on a point cloud obtained through mobile laser scanning, a 3D BIM-model was developed in the Archicad software environment. User-defined attributes were assigned to the identified materials, including information on their identification characteristics, condition, origin, and potential further treatment in accordance with circular construction principles. The information-enriched model was exported into the open IFC format, and the transfer of geometric and attribute data was verified. The results show that a 3D BIM-model with appropriately structured information can serve as an interoperable information basis for the preparation of Digital Material Passports (DMP) and can improve the traceability and management of construction materials throughout their life cycle.
