Abstract:
V diplomskem delu se bomo osredotočili na spoznavanje lokalnih omrežij s pomočjo simulacijskega okolja. Preučili bomo možnosti, ki jih ponuja izbrano simulacijsko orodje ter z njegovo pomočjo sestavili sistem za preverjanje poznavanja lokalnih omrežij. Podrobneje bomo preučili delovanje lokalnih omrežij na spodnjih štirih slojih OSI referenčnega modela.

EMPLOYING SIMULATION ENVIRONMENT IN THE UNDERSTANDING OF LOCAL NETWORKS
Abstract:
The present diploma work focuses on understanding the way local networks function by using a simulation environment. The work studied the functions offered by the simulation tool for assessing the local networks. Then the local area networks were studied by the all layers of OSI model.
