Abstract:	Diplomsko delo obravnava družino in njen vpliv na oblikovanje osebnosti posameznika. Veliko ljudi in tudi veliko raziskovalcev tega področja je mnenja, da je družina tista, ki zaznamuje življenje posameznika. V teoretičnem delu diplomske naloge je najprej opredeljena družina, sledita socializacija in vzgoja, ki sta zagotovo pomembna dejavnika in v veliki meri zaznamujeta sleherno osebnost. V nadaljevanju je natančneje opisana osebnost. V diplomskem delu sledi teoretični opredelitvi empirični del, kjer smo želeli s pomočjo anketnih vprašalnikov, ki so bili razdeljeni med srednješolce gimnazijskega in poklicnega programa raziskati, ali res obstaja tako velik vpliv družine na oblikovanje osebnosti, kot ji ga pripisuje družba, v kateri živimo. Preverili smo višino splošne samopodobe pri mladostnikih in vzgojne stile, ki prevladujejo v njihovih družinah. Prav tako smo preverili, ali obstajajo razlike v višini samopodobe glede na spol in ali obstajajo razlike v višini samopodobe mladostnikov glede na tip srednje šole, ki jo obiskujejo. V poglavju preverjanje hipotez in v sklepnem delu so prikazane vse ugotovitve, do katerih smo prišli med izdelavo diplomskega dela.

Title:	Family impact on formation of on individual's personality - educational style and the self - image of adolescents
Abstract:	This diploma work discusses family and its influence on shaping the personality of an individual. Lots of people and researchers that are active in this field think that the family denotes the life of an individual. In the theoretical part of the diploma work there is a definition of a family, followed by socialization and education, which are certainly important factors and mostly denote each personality. In the next sequel personality is exactly described. In the diploma work the theoretical part is followed by the empirical part, where we used questionnaires. These questionnaires were distributed among the secondary school students, who are visiting gymnasium and vocational programmes. We wanted to explore if there really is such a strong influence of the family on shaping a personality as the society that we live in thinks. We have checked how high is the common self image with adolescents and educational styles that prevail in their families. We have also checked if there are any differences in the height of the self image according to gender and the type of secondary school these young people are visiting. In the chapter where we have checked the hypotheses and in the final part of the diploma work there are all findings that we have come to while doing the diploma work.
