Nepridipravi skušajo s pomočjo lažnih spletnih strani priti do podatkov s katerimi imajo kasneje dostop do našega transakcijskega računa.

Title:INTERNET BANKING SYSTEMS SECURITY - THE CASE OF KLIK NLB
Abstract:Nowadays it is impossible to find a bank which does not run business electronically and offers services of electronic banking. Internet banking as service of electronic banking has given new extensions to banks, because they offered most of their services in their so called “virtual banks”. Everything what online bank users need to access online bank, is a personal computer and access to internet. Because of the numerous advantages of online banking, the number of online banking users is increasing daily. When we are talking about internet banking, we can not overlook its security. Secure internet banking is a mutual responsibility. It concerns both, banks and users. For instance: banks assure safety on mentioned field with security technology as fire walls, routers, cryptography and verification, whereas users have their own set of responsibilities in providing security for their internet banking. They must update the operating systems and anti-virus programs regularly. Their passwords and personal data must be kept secret. Earlier mentioned viruses, worms and Trojan horses may weaken your personal computer or destroy all data and files, stored on your computer. Furthermore, internet frauds are becoming a common thing these days. Fraudsters often create authentic-looking, but false websites (phishing and pharming). Their purpose is to tempt users to enter their personal information, which will then be re-used to access their bank accounts.
