Title:POVEZAVA MED ODNOSOM UČITELJIC DO ŠPORTA IN KAKOVOSTJO IZVAJANJA ŠPORTNE VZGOJE NA RAZREDNI STOPNJI

Abstract:Namen raziskave diplomskega dela je bil ugotoviti, kakšen odnos imajo učiteljice razrednega pouka do športa, kakšna je kakovost izvajanja športne vzgoje ter ali obstaja povezava med odnosom učiteljic do športa in kakovostjo izvajanja športnovzgojnega procesa. Podatki, potrebni za raziskavo, so bili zbrani s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika. Vzorec je zajemal 50 učiteljic razrednega pouka (od prvega do petega razreda) iz desetih osnovnih šol z območja Prekmurja. Raziskava je pokazala, da je kakovost izvajanja športne vzgoje na razredni stopnji nizka, polovica učiteljic pa do športa kaže povprečen odnos. Le pri petini učiteljic je bil ugotovljen nadpovprečen odnos do športa. Izkazalo se je, da med odnosom učiteljic do športa in kakovostjo izvajanja športne vzgoje ni povezave, kar je lahko tudi dober znak, da na učiteljice z manjšim interesom za šport ne vpliva njihov odnos na izvedbo športne vzgoje. Kljub temu bi se morale učiteljice bolj zavedati pomembnosti kvalitetne športne vzgoje in se čim bolj potruditi, da jo tako tudi izvedejo.

Title:The Relation Between the Teachers’ Attitude Toward Sport and the Quality of Physical Education Teaching at Class Level
Abstract:The goal of my diploma work was to determine the class teachers’ relation to sport, the quality of physical education teaching and to establish a connection between the relation to sport and the quality of teaching. Data has been collected by means of a questionnaire. The sample included 50 class teachers (from the first to the fifth class) from ten different primary schools in Prekmurje region. The research showed that the quality of physical education teaching in lower classes is low and half of the class teachers show an average relation to sport. Only a fifth of class teachers showed a higher relation level to sport. The research also showed that there is no connection between the teachers’ relation to sport and the quality of lesson performance at physical education. Due to the data we can conclude, that class teachers’ lower interest to sports doesn’t affect their performance at teaching. Even though the teachers should be aware of the importance of a high quality physical education teaching and should make an effort to do so.
