V diplomski nalogi so predstavljeni posamezni energijski viri, v okviru katerih so izdelani shematski diagrami, ki ponazarjajo pretvarjanje sončne energije v druge oblike energij.

Title:INTRODUCTION OF BASIC ENERGY CONCEPTS IN PRIMARY SCHOOL
Abstract:Processes in nature require energy which can be transformed from one into another form. If we follow this energy transformation, we find that the basic energy source is our Sun. The diploma paper presents individual energy sources in the framework of which are formed schematic diagrams which illustrate the transformation of the energy of the Sun into other forms. The purpose of the diagrams is to present the Sun as the basic source of energy. A comparison of the quantity of energy accumulation in different energetic sources was also made; in the form of diagrams and tables mutual comparisons of energy sources’ exploitation are presented. The empirical part of the paper includes the research carried out among primary school pupils of the sixth grade and the students of class teaching and technical course. The research is based on individual points which grasp the understanding of transformation of the energy of the Sun into other forms and quantity notions of the acquired energy from individual sources. The concrete example of water cycle in nature showed that the majority of the interviewees, mostly sixth grade pupils, are not aware of the fact that the energy of water which is exploited in hydroelectric power stations actually comes from the Sun. In addition to this, the results also show superficial knowledge of technological and natural ways of transforming the energy of the Sun into other forms. Namely, the half of sixth grade pupils does not have the knowledge of the natural transformation of the energy of the Sun into other forms; while the students of technological course showed a somewhat better knowledge of technological ways of transforming the energy of the Sun into other forms. Moreover, both the students and the sixth grade pupils are also not conscious of the fact that the majority of energetic sources could not be exploited if the Sun stopped shining. Additionally, they also somewhat underestimate the quantity of electrical energy which can be acquired with the help of individual power stations from different energetic sources. Especially are reflected superficial quantity notions about the energy of the Sun which is intercepted by the Earth.
