Abstract:
Diplomska naloga obravnava sodobni način povezovanja računalnikov v brezžična lokalna računalniška omrežja. Podrobneje je opisana zgodovina in razvoj standarda IEEE 802.11. Posebna pozornost je posvečena načinom zagotavljanja varnosti v brezžičnih lokalnih omrežjih. Opisana so najpomembnejša tveganja, ki se pojavljajo pri brezžičnih povezavah. Osrednja tema moje diplomske naloge je predstavitev brezžičnega omrežja v podjetju. Opisane so tehnologije in pripomočki, ki jih uporabljajo v podjetju za zagotavljanje varnega prenosa podatkov v brezžičnem lokalnem omrežju.

DATA SECURITY IN WIRELESS LOCAL AREA NETWORK
Abstract:
Bachelor thesis deals with the modern way of connecting computers in local wireless computer networks. History and development of standard IEEE 802.11 is detailed described. Special attention is devoted to providing security in local wireless networks. I described the most important hazards which occur at wireless connections. Main theme of my dissertation is presentation of wireless network in the company. I described the technology and products, which are used in company for providing safe transfer of data in local wireless network.
