Abstract:
V diplomskem delu smo orisali pomen in vlogo Policije, normativno osnovo za njeno delovanje, zgodovinski razvoj, organizacijsko strukturo in podobno. Osrednjo pozornost smo namenili zaposlovanju. V empiričnem delu smo med drugim podrobno analizirali dinamiko gibanja v obsegu in strukturi zaposlovanja od leta 2004 do 2009. V tem okviru smo preverjali veljavnost treh hipotez. Rezultati nakazujejo, da je prišlo v strukturi zaposlenih v tem obdobju do nekaterih pomembnih sprememb.

EMPLOYMENT OF WORKERS IN POLICE
Abstract:
The diploma work outlines the significance and the role of the police, explaining normative grounds for their activity, describing the historical development, organizational structure etc., while emphasising the question of employment. The empirical part, among other things, provides a detailed analysis in the dynamics of motion in the scope and structure of employment between 2004 and 2009. Three hypotheses are therefore examined. The results show that there were some major changes in employment structure in the period mentioned.
