Abstract:	Lokacija in organizacija procesa je izjemno pomembna za uspešnost vsakega procesa. Še posebej to velja za proizvodne procese. Z dobro lokacijsko ureditvijo lahko močno zmanjšamo predvsem transportne stroške in s tem dvignemo konkurenčnost procesa, kar je pri podjetjih, ki nastopajo na globalnih trgih življenskega pomena. Sam sem že več kot 27 let zaposlen v procesu proizvodnje rolic in brisač v podjetju Paloma d.d. Že kar nekaj let se podjetje ubada s težavami pri poslovanju, predvsem zaradi zaostajanja v kvaliteti izdelkov ter višjih stroških procesa kot jih ima konkurenca. Lokacija podjetja je zaradi utesnjene lege med reko Muro in regionalno cesto ter naseljem izrazito neugodna z vidika notranje lokacijske ureditve in s tem optimizacije predvsem transportnih stroškov. Drugi problem je zastarelost tehnološke opreme za proizvodnjo rolic in brisač. Razvoj na tem področju je šel v smeri avtomatizacije proizvodnega procesa, ki zahteva bistveno manj delovne sile in proizvaja izdelke boljše kakovosti in v večjem obsegu. Nizka produktivnost na zaposlenega ter visoki transportni stroški pomenijo večjo proizvodno ceno izdelka, ki je glavni vzrok za izgubljanje tekme s konkurenco na trgu. Edina rešitev za obstoj ter povečanje tržnega deleža prodaje Palominih rolic in brisač na trgu je uvajanje nove sodobne tehnologije in povečanje stroškovne učinkovitosti procesa. V tej diplomski nalogi bomo dokazali, da lahko z modernizacijo procesa in predvsem z novo notranjo lokacijsko ureditvijo znižamo celotne stroške procesa proizvodnje rolic in brisač kar za 2,3 MIO EUR na leto.

Title:	REORGANIZATION OF THE PRODUCTION OF TOILET PAPER AND KITCHEN TOWELS IN THE COMPANY PALOMA D.D.
Abstract:	Location and organization of the process are extremely important for the successfulness of every process. This is especially true for production processes. First of all, transport costs can be significantly reduced and consequently competitive position of the process can be increased with good arrangement of the location. All this is of vital importance for companies that play role on global markets. I have been employed for more than 27 years in process of production of toilet paper and kitchen towels in company Paloma d.d. For already some years this company has dealing with economic problems, especially because of being backward with quality of products and higher production cost than competition on the market. Firstly, the location of the company is of extremely disadvantage from point of view of internal arrangement and consequently for optimization of transport costs. This is because of limited position between river Mura, regional road and settlement Sladki Vrh. Second problem is obsoleteness of technological equipment for production of toilet paper and kitchen towels. Development on this field has been oriented in automation of production process, which has essential lower demand for manpower and produce products of better quality and in bigger extent. The main reason for losing competition on the market is higher production price of product, which is consequence of having low productiveness on employee and high transport costs. New up-to-date technology and increase in expense efficiency of the process are the only solution for existence and increase of market share of sale of Paloma’s toilet paper and kitchen towels. In this diploma thesis will be proved that with modernisation of the process and especially with new arrangement of the location, the whole costs of production process of toilet paper and kitchen towels can be lowered for at least 2,3 MIO EUR per year.
