Abstract:
Cilj diplomske naloge je predstavitev delovanja dobrega informacijskega sistema na posameznih področjih delovanja občine. Hiter razvoj informacijske in komunikacijske tehnologije občino sili v nenehno posodabljanje informacijskega sistema. Strategijo razvoja le-tega v zadnjem času usmerjata internet in elektronsko poslovanje. Vloga informacijskih sistemov ni več samo ta, da pokrivajo notranje poslovne funkcije, sodobni informacijski sistemi so odprti in usmerjeni v celotno verigo svojega poslovanja.

Information System Upgrade of the City of Ljubljana
Abstract:
The aim of the thesis is the presentation of good information system operation in several fields of City's work. Due to quick development of information and communication technology, the City needs to upgrade its information system constantly. Recently, the strategy of its development is driven by internet and e-management. The function of information systems is not only to deal with intra management; modern information systems are open and oriented to the whole chain of e-management.
