So reka našega življenja. Dajejo nam življenjski zagon, občutek za lepoto in barvitost življenja. V naše odnose vnašajo toplino in nas povezujejo z bližnjimi.

Title:EXPRESSING NEGATIVE EMOTIONS
Abstract:ABSTRACT No aspect of our mental life is more important to the quality and meaning of our existence than emotions. They are what make life worth living, or sometimes ending. Emotions have the power to bring warmth and to connect us to our dear ones. However, the emotions expressed by humans can be divided into two broad categories: positive and negative. Negative emotions express an attempt or intention to exclude - strengthening one's own state of mind at the expense of others and at the expense of relationships. One could say that emotions have the power to change a present situation into another, a different one, ranging from a small degree of change to a totally opposite situation. The power of emotions is truly big, what we already find out in an early childhood. Due to that power, it would be good in early stages to learn how to treat them properly. To be able to feel, understand and teach others, especially our own children, we need, first of all to feel ourselves. Emotions come to life spontaneously, unannouncedly and often unexpectedly. For this reason, we, adults already have many troubles with controlling emotions let alone children. We should be aware everywhere that we, adults with our own behaviour are an example to children, and that little children with their emotional troubles will probably deal with them as they will learn from us. By being constructive while expressing emotions is part of our child’s path towards maturity.
