Abstract:	Diplomska naloga predstavlja raziskavo o nekaterih faktorjih, ki privedejo do nasilja v druÅ¾ini in trpinÄenja otrok. Ugotovili smo, da je najveÄ anketiranih starÅ¡ev starih med 29-39 let in imajo dokonÄano srednjo ali poklicno Å¡olo. VeÄina je zaposlenih. VeÄina je poroÄenih, drugi pa Å¾ivijo v izven zakonski skupnosti. Ne poznajo druÅ¾in, kjer sta klofuta in kriÄanje obiÄajen naÄin kaznovanja, vendar verjetno bi poklicali policijo, Äe bi vedeli za takÅ¡no dogajanje pri znancih ali sosedih. Anketiranci menijo, da niÄ ni narobe z udarcem po riti, kadar si otrok to zasluÅ¾i, vendar pa vseeno niso otroci bolj pripravljeni na Å¾ivljenje, Äe so vzgojeni s trdo roko. Sami nasilja kot otrok niso doÅ¾ivljali, menijo pa, da je najpogostejÅ¡e nasilje nad otroki fiziÄno nasilje, kateremu pa sledi psihiÄno. Alkoholizem, revÅ¡Äina in nezaposlenost vplivata na nasilje v druÅ¾ini, pripadnost drugi kulturi in nizka izobrazba pa ne. Ugotovili smo, da starÅ¡, ki je sam bil trpinÄen, uporablja enak vzorec za vzgojo svojega otroka. Prav tako ugotavljamo, da po mnenju anketirancev nasilje v medijih vpliva na odnos do nasilja v resniÄnem Å¾ivljenju. Nasilje v druÅ¾ini je druÅ¾beni in zasebni problem druÅ¾ine. Vedo, da je trpinÄenje otroka kaznivo dejanje.

Title:	Environmental relation to physical punishment towards children
Abstract:	The diploma paper presentates a researche about some factors that cause violence in family and child torture. Results of the research have shown that majority of questioned parents are 29-30 years old and have finished primary or secondary school. Most of them are employed. Most of them are married or live in cohabitation. They do not know families in which slapping and screaming are a common way of punishing. They would probably call the police if they knew that such behavior has been going on in families they know. A punch on the bottom is not a problem when a child deserves one, but it does not make children any more prepared for their life. They themselves did not suffer violence as they were children. They think that the most common child violence is physical violence followed by psychological violence. Factors that have influence on family violence are alcoholism, poverty and unemployment while belonging to a different culture and lower education have no such influence. We think that a parent who has been punished uses the same sample of education for his own child. After the opinion of the parents we think that violence represented in media affects violence in everyday life. Violence inside the family is a social and a private problem. Parents do know that violence towards children is a crime.
