S temi prijemi želimo predvsem omejiti izpuste toplogrednih plinov. Uporabljajmo varčne žarnice in kupujmo okolju prijazne gospodinjske aparate. Odpadke ločujmo in uporabljajmo čim manj kemičnih čistil. Prav tako varčujmo z vodo.

Abstract:Climate change is a natural cyclical phenomenon, in which the average weather patterns. Constant temperature increase in the global context is one of ours main concerns. The main reason for this is carbon dioxide - CO2. Of course this gas also occurs in nature, but for gas emissions are mainly responsible people, so we are responsible for the current climate situation. We have witnessed big rise in CO2 emissions especially in the last fifty years. This encourage the public and the scientists to began closely monitor the reasons for its growth. That change really happen too fast, it is demonstrated with the measurements in all areas. The Environmental Agency of RS is responsible for monitoring the consequences of the climate change in Slovenia. Because of the temperature increase, which is also recorded in Slovenia, we have often witnessed heat shock and droughts. Climate change is manifested in a movement of the climate zones, resulting in the delay and the shift of bands with precipitations as well as in the annual rainfall itself. We are witnessing this change also in our country. Melting ice and glaciers is certainly the best indicator that the changes really happen. Evidence for this are the Triglav Glacier and Skuta Glacier. Climate change is also manifested in the increase of the global temperature of the seas. All of this of course costs and constitute significant effect on insurance industry, especially because of the more frequent natural disasters. For reducing the impact of climate change we are using differnet measures, such us laws, protocols, green technology, alternative energy sources and highlighting how to save energy. With these measurements we want mainly to restrict greenhouse gas emissions. However, each individual can contribute to the improvement of the current climate situation. This can be done with small changes in our everyday life, such are the use of public transport means, the use of bicycles for short distances, the use of saving light bulbs, the use of environmentally friendly household appliances, the minimal use of chemical cleaners and with the separation of garbage and water saving.
