Abstract:	Skladiščenje je zelo pomembno poslovno področje vsakega podjetja, saj mora imeti tekoče podatke o zalogah materiala, polizdelkov in končnih izdelkov. Odsev spremembe poslovanja se zelo močno pozna v logističnih procesih podjetij. Razvoj in uporaba novih informacijskih tehnologij že danes v osnovi spreminja sisteme v logistiki. Obseg logističnih operacij se iz dneva v dan močno povečuje, zato je v uspešnem podjetju nujno zagotoviti kakovostno in zanesljivo informacijsko podporo. V sodobnem času informacijska tehnologija omogoča praktično popoln nadzor nad materialnim tokom in s tem zagotavlja natančen vpogled v stanje zalog v realnem času. Odločitve o izbiri in načinu uporabe posameznih orodij za podporo poslovanja, so ena izmed kritičnih nalog, ki jih je potrebno pravilno izbrati za izvedbo informacijske podpore. Tema diplomskega dela je prehod iz dveh na en računalniški sistem vodenja skladišča in upravljanja z zalogami. Posodobitev se nanaša tudi na vsa opravila, ki se pojavljajo v skladiščnem procesu. Namen in cilj diplomskega dela je poenotenje informacijskega sistema, zmanjšanje možnosti neenotnih zalog, odprava težav pri prenosu podatkov iz enega v drugi informacijski sistem, skrajšan čas obdelave prejema in izdaje embalažnega materiala, enotno in cenejše vzdrževanje sistema, lažje upravljanje s sistemom, enostavnejši nadaljnji razvoj sistema. S predlaganimi izboljšavami bi se stroški informacijske tehnologije zmanjšali, lažje bi postalo upravljanje s samo enim sistemom, težave s prenosom podatkov bi odpadle, posledično bi prišlo do hitrejšega, učinkovitejšega, enostavnejšega in preglednega dela v skladišču embalaže.

Title:	RENOVATION OF INFORMATION SYSTEM IN THE WAREHOUSE OF PACKAGING MATERIALS IN KRKA D.D.
Abstract:	Warehousing is a very important business sector of each company because it must have current data on inventories of material, semi-manufactured goods and final products. Changes in operations are especially seen in the logistics processes of companies. Nowadays the development and use of new information technologies have been basically changing logistics systems. The scope of logistics operations has been increasing daily very much so a successful company has to provide for qualitative as well as reliable information support. In the modern era information technology practically allows a complete control over the flow of materials and at the same time ensures a precise insight into the status of real-time inventory. Decisions about the choise and method of using individual tools to support operations are one of key duties that need to be properly chosen if we want to provide information support. The theme of my diploma thesis is a transfer from a two-computer system to only one computer system of monitoring warehouse and dealing with inventories. Updating relates also to all the work that appears in the warehousing process. The purpose and goal of the thesis are to unify the information system, reduce the possibilities of not uniform inventories, remove problems concerning transfer of information from one to another information system, reduce the time needed for processing receipts and issues of packaging material, have a single and cheaper maintainance system, operate the system easier and provide its simpler further development. With the improvements suggested the costs of information technology would be reduces, it would be easier to handle one system only, there would be no problems concerning the data transfer, and all these would bring faster, more effective, simpler and clearer work in the packaging warehouse.
