Abstract:
V diplomski nalogi smo optimirali delovanje programa ClickTrans. Program omogoča vodenje dogodkov v poslovnem procesu opravljanja transportne in logistične dejavnosti. Z eksperimentalno metodo smo določili tiste funkcije, ki porabijo največ časa, pomnilnika ter procesorja. Spremembe smo izvajali v razvijalskem okolju Visual Studio 2008 v jeziku Visual Basic .NET ter C# . Optimizacijo delovanja smo dosegli s spremembo načina nalaganja podatkovin prikazom podatkov, ki jih v danem trenutku potrebujemo. Skrajšali smo čas nalaganja za več kot 75 %, zmanjšali porabo pomnilnika za več kot 85% in porabo procesorja za več kot 50%.

ENHANCEMENT OF SOURCE CODE
Abstract:
The diploma thesis deals with optimization of the computer program ClickTrans to work more efficiently and use fewer resources. This program allows us to manage processes of logistic and transport companies. We used the experimental method for the determination of the most time, memory and processor consuming functions. The code alterations were made in the Visual Studio 2008 development environment in languages Visual Basic .NET and C#. Optimization was achieved by altering the way how the data are loaded and by displaying only the momentarily needed data. The load time was shortened by more than 75%, memory consumption lowered by more than 85% and processor usage by more than 50%.
