Abstract:Uvajanje otrok v vrtec je tema, s katero se srečujejo starši, ko pripeljejo svojega otroka prvič v vrtec. Novo okolje, v katerega vstopajo malčki, predstavlja za starše polno skrbi in vprašanj. V teoretičnem delu diplomske naloge sem se dotaknila družine kot vrednote, ki ima svojevrsten pomen, otroku pa predstavlja svet. Opisala sem, kakšen je proces uvajanja v vrtec in s kakšnimi težavami se starši in otroci srečujejo v uvajalnem obdobju. Dobro sodelovanje med starši in vzgojitelji je zelo pomembno za dobro počutje otroka v vrtcu, zato sem se dotaknila tudi tega področja. V empiričnem delu sem raziskovala in ugotavljala, kako so starši spremljali svoje otroke pri uvajanju v vrtec in kako je potekalo spoznavanje novega okolja. Anketni vprašalnik je bil posredovan staršem, kajti zanimalo me je, kako so v šolskem letu 2008/2009 uvajalno obdobje preživeli skupaj s svojimi otroki. Hipoteze, ki sem si jih zastavila, so bile potrjene. Rezultati ankete kažejo, da je večina staršev sodelovala pri uvajanju svojega otroka v vrtec. V odnosih z vzgojnim osebjem so dobro sodelovali, kajti imeli so možnost vzgojiteljici posredovati vse značilnosti o svojem otroku in izrazili pomembnost zaupanja vanjo, kar je razveseljivo. Ob vpisu otroka v vrtec so prejeli mnogo koristnih informacij o uvajanju, ki so jim bile v veliko pomoč. To pomeni, da vrtec dobro obvešča starše že v začetnem procesu vključevanja otroka v vzgojno-varstveno institucijo. Z obiskom ustanove in spoznavanjem vzgojnega osebja so starši izrazili zanimanje za vključevanje otroka v vrtec ter tako sodelovali pri vključevanju svojega otroka.

Title:INTRODUCING CHILDREN TO THE IVANČNA GORICA NURSERY SCHOOL
Abstract:Introducing children to a nursery school is something that parents have to face when they bring their child into a nursery school for the first time. A new environment, into which the children are entering, arouses several concerns and questions for their parents. In the theoretical part of my thesis, I focused on a family as a value which has a unique meaning and represents a world to a child. I described the process of introduction into a nursery school and the problems met by parents in this period. As a good cooperation between parents and childcare workers is very important for the well-being of a child in a nursery school, I also dealt with this field. In the empirical part, I was researching and establishing how the parents monitored their children during the introduction process and how the familiarization of a new environment proceeded. A survey questionnaire was distributed among parents to find out how they went through the introduction period with their child in the 2008/2009 school year. My hypotheses were confirmed. The results of the questionnaire showed that most of the parents participated in introducing their children into a nursery school. Their communication with the childcare staff was good because they had an opportunity to tell the childcare worker about their child's characteristics and consequently expressed their confidence in them, which is encouraging. At the moment of enrolling a child into a nursery school, they were given a lot of useful information and that was a great help to them. This means that the nursery school informs the parents well in the very start of the process of introducing a child into an educational and child care institution. By visiting the institution and meeting the educational staff, the parents expressed their interest in introducing their children into a nursery school and also took part in it.
