Abstract:	Tema diplomske naloge je poslušanje neumetnostnega besedila v 3. razredu devetletne osnovne šole. Namen le-te je bil preveriti in primerjati, kako vpliva poslušanje neumetnostnega besedila na razumevanje poslušanega in razvoj pisanja pri učencih. V teoretičnem delu je bilo predstavljeno: poslušanje kot komunikacijska dejavnost, pomen poslušanja, vrste in dejavniki, ki vplivajo na poslušanje, govorno-poslušalska komunikacija ter poslušanje neumetnostnih besedil v šoli in prvem triletju. Empirični del zajema prikaz in primerjavo rezultatov, ki so jih dosegli učenci tretjih razredov podeželske (šola A) in mestne šole (šola B). Učenci podeželske šole se s poslušanjem posnetega neumetnostnega besedila še niso srečali, učenci mestne šole pa ga poznajo že od 1. razreda. Uporabljeni sta bili deskriptivna in kavzalno-neeksperimentalna metoda. Rezultati so bili pridobljeni s pomočjo reševanja kratkih nalog, oblikovanja pojmovne mape in zapisom krajšega neumetnostnega besedila po poslušanem neumetnostnem besedilu.

Title:	LISTENING TO NON-LITERARY TEXTS (OBJECT DESCRIPTION) IN THE THIRD GRADE OF THE NINE-YEAR PRIMARY SCHOOL
Abstract:	The topic of this diploma thesis is listening to non-literary texts in the third grade of the nine-year primary school. The aim was to establish and compare the effects of listening to non-literary texts on the comprehension of the previously listened to text and on the development of writing skills in pupils. The theoretical part introduces following concepts: listening as an act of communication, the significance of listening, types and factors influencing listening, verbal-listening communication and listening to non-literary texts in school and in the first triennium. The empirical part comprises an overview and a comparison of the results achieved by third grade pupils from a rural (school A) and from an urban school (school B). Rural school pupils have not yet encountered listening to recorded non-literary texts, while the urban school pupils have been familiar with it since the first grade. I have employed the descriptive and non-experimental causal method during my research. The results were obtained by means of solving short tasks, forming a concept map and by writing down a short non-literary text after listening to the non-literary text.
