Metodologija in metode dela. Uporabili smo deskriptivno metodo dela. Za zbiranje podatkov in ugotavljanje obstoječega stanja smo uporabili anketni vprašalnik namenjen zdravstvenim tehnikom zaposlenim v fiziatrični ambulanti. Anketa je bila narejena junija 2009. Pridobljene podatke smo statistično obdelali in grafično prikazali s pomočjo računalniških programov Microsoft Exel in Microsoft Word. Rezultati raziskave.

Title:The nurse's communication in physiatrical dispensary.
Abstract:In this diploma work, we presented the role of nurses in physiatrical clinic, effective communication with patients, barriers encountered in communication with patients, ways to give clear and comprehensible information to patient and also suggestions for improvement of communication are given. The purpose of this research was to determine the most often obstacles that arise in communications between nurse and patient and how nurses try to improve communication. Methodology and methods of work. We used descriptive method of work. For data collection and assessment of the existing situation, we used questionnaires designed for medical technicians employed in physiatrical clinic. The survey was created in June 2009. Acquired data were statistically processed and graphically displayed using computer programs Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. The results of the survey. We found that the most common obstacle to patients who come in physiatrical clinic is for the elderly, since the first days they are overwhelmed with all the information. Patients are directly transferred from one institution to another, must quickly be adapted to the new environment, which for them represents a major stress. Medical technicians on the other hand, strive to improve communication; they want to acquire new knowledge and education in areas of communication. Conclusion. Effective communication includes informing patients as well as their relatives, crucial significance is involvement of relatives in the process of patient treatment and respect for the dignity of the patient. The effective communication is also influenced by personal characteristics and skills of the nurse, also evident is, that lack of time for more talks with patients is present.
