Abstract:
Diplomsko delo opisuje uporabo jezika UML pri načrtovanju spletnih aplikacij. Podani so razlogi nastanka jezika UML ter njegova zgodovina razvoja. Opisani so osnovni principi, funkcionalnosti ter načini razširjenja le-teh z vpeljevanjem UML profilov. Podrobneje so opisani sestavni deli UML profilov in predstavljeni nekateri že uveljavljeni profili. Raziskali in opisali smo tudi nekatera modelirna orodja s podporo jeziku UML. Sledi praktični prikaz načrtovanja spletne aplikacije z uporabo diagramskih tehnik UML in vključenim spletnim profilom.

WEB APPLICATION DESIGN USING UML
Abstract:
The diploma work describes the use of UML language in the design of web applications. It gives the reasons for UML language emergence and its history of development. It contains the description of the basic principles, functionalities and methods of extending them with the introduction of UML profiles. Furthermore it deals with components of UML profiles in detail, and presents some already established profiles. We also investigated and described some of the modeling tools that support UML language. All this is followed by a practical demonstration of programming web applications using UML diagramming techniques and involved online profile.
