Abstract:
Diplomska naloga obravnava razvoj prototipne rešitve za izmenjavo podatkov med informacijskim sistemom Slovenskih železnic in mednarodnim informacijskim sistemom za spremljanje vlakov Europtirails. Prototip temelji na uporabi programskega paketa za komunikacijo med aplikacijami IBM WebSphere MQ. Kratko so predstavljeni informacijski sistem Slovenskih železnic (ISSŽP), mednarodni sistem za spremljanje vlakov Europtirails in standardna sporočila za povezavo s sistemom Europtirails. Podrobno je opisan programski paket IBM WebSphere MQ. Ocenjena je zahtevnost vpeljave prototipne rešitve za izmenjavo podatkov. Izdelana prototipna rešitev omogoča izmenjavo sporočil o voznem redu posameznega vlaka (2090) in sporočil o gibanju vlaka (2002). V obdobju testiranja je bilo uspešno poslano preko sto tisoč sporočil. V času pisanja poročila je rešitev že v redni uporabi.

DEVELOPMENT OF DATA EXCHANGE PROTOTYPE BASED ON IBM WEBSPHERE MQ
Abstract:
In this thesis the prototype for data exchange between two information systems- railroad company Slovenske železnice (ISSŽP) and international system for train monitoring Europtirails is developed. The prototype is based on message queuing package IBM WebSphere MQ which enables interapplication communication. Information system ISSŽP, Europtirails and standard messages in Europtirail are briefly presented. IBM WebSphere MQ is described in detail. The complexity of introduction of new prototype in Slovenske železnice is stressed. This prototype enables exchange of message 2090 (contracted timetable) and message 2002 (Running advice). During the testing period over one hundred thousand messages were successfully transmitted between two information systems.The developed prototype evolved in production version while this report is finished.
