Title:The influence of added coenzyme Q10 to the chicken feed on its content in the breast and thigh muscle tissue.
Abstract:The purpose of this thesis is to establish the influence of added Coenzyme Q10 to the chicken feed on its content in the breast and thigh muscle tissue. 200 chickens provenience Ross 308 were put into a chicken pen. The test groups were formed according to the length of feeding with the water-soluble Coenzyme Q10 (control group, R1, R2, R3, R4). From the first day and up to the 42 th day we were testing the production results. The weighing was carried out 5 times on the 10th, 21st, 29th, 36th and 42nd day. The biggest growth was noted in the group R1 where the chickens were fed with the added Q10 for the whole 42 days and the worst in the control group. The chickens in the control group were 318 g lighter than the average mass of chickens in group R1. On the basis of these chemical results we calculated the average content of CoQ10 in particular groups in the breast and thigh tissue, which were gotten from 12 samples of double repetitions of particular groups. The results showed that the content of CoQ10 in the breast muscle tissue is the biggest in group R1 12.86 mg/kg CoQ10 and the lowest in the control group 8.89 mg/kg CoQ10 where there was no added CoQ10 in the chicken feed. The difference is 3.94 mg/kg of breasts which is about 30 % these values, which are mutually statistically significant differences (p≤0.05). At the thigh muscle tissue the content is as well the biggest in group R1 24.73 mg/kg CoQ10 and the lowest in the control group 21.49 mg/kg CoQ10 The difference is 3.24 mg/kg of thighs which is about 13 % those values, that are statistically less significant.
