Abstract:
Diplomska naloga analizira možnosti centralizacije informacijskega sistema v javnem zavodu Knjižnica Ivana Tavčarja Škofja Loka. V prvem delu je opisano in analizirano trenutno stanje informacijskega sistema v organizaciji. V nadaljevanju so predstavljeni načrt optimizacije in opisani koraki za postavitev strojne in programske opreme, ki bo omogočala upravljanje geografsko razdrobljenega sistema z ene lokacije. V zaključku je predstavljeno, kakšne bodo koristi centraliziranega informacijskega sistema za obravnavano organizacijo.

CENTRALIZATION OF THE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AT THE PUBLIC LIBRARY IVAN TAVČAR ŠKOFJA LOKA AND SUBSIDIARIES
Abstract:
The theme of the diploma is centered on the possibility of implementing a centralized information system in the Public Library Ivan Tavčar Škofja Loka. The first part of this paper is an analysis of the current situation in the organization. This is followed by a plan for optimization and a description of steps necessary to implement hardware and software that will enable the organization to manage and monitor its information system from one location. At the end is a presentation of what the organization would benefit from a centralized information infrastructure.
