Abstract:	Podjetja morajo v današnjem času, ko se borijo za obstanek, biti sposobna se prilagajati in uporabljati najsodobnejše informacijske sisteme. V našem diplomskem delu smo se osredotočili na elektronsko arhiviranje, ki postaja že nuja, saj v podjetje prihaja vse več elektronske dokumentacije. Z ustreznim načinom arhiviranja lahko v podjetju znižamo stroške povezane z iskanjem in dostopanjem do informacij, z izgubo, poškodovanjem ali fizično zlorabo pomembnih dokumentov ter z zasedanjem prostora. Spremembam pa se morejo prilagajati tudi zakonodajalci ne samo podjetja, zato je leta 2006 prišlo do sprejetja Zakona o varstvu dokumentarnega in arhivskega gradiva ter arhivih, s katerim so poskrbeli za pravno veljavnost elektronskih dokumentov. Seveda, elektronsko arhiviranje ima tudi svoje slabosti in nevarnosti, kot jih ima vsak sistem, vendar s pravilno izgradnjo sistema prednosti in priložnosti elektronskega arhiviranja pretehtajo slabosti in nevarnosti.

Title:	THE MODEL OF INTRODUCING THE BEST SUITABLE WAY OF FILING ACCOUNTING DOCUMENTATION IN LUKA KOPER D.D.
Abstract:	Nowadays, in their fight for survival, the companies have to be capable of adapting and to use the latest information systems. This diploma paper focuses on electronic archiving which has become a necessity due to the fact that companies receive more and more electronic documentation. With proper archiving, a company can reduce the costs that arise from searching and accessing information, loss, damage or physical misuse of important documents, as well as the storage space for archiving. On the other hand, companies are not the only ones that need to adapt; the same applies to the legislators. Thus, in 2006, Protection of Documents and Archives and Archival Institutions Act was adopted which provides for the legal validity of electronic documents. Of course, like any other system electronic archiving is not without weaknesses and risks; however, by proper setting up of the system, the advantages and opportunities provided by electronic archiving can overcome its weaknesses and risks.
