Abstract:	Diplomska naloga bo prispevala k razumevanju možnosti uporabe aplikacijskega ogrodja Seam in ogrodij, ki jih le-ta vključuje. Začeli bomo s predstavitvijo ogrodja za kreiranje prezentacijskega sloja spletnih aplikacij — JSF (angl. Java Server Faces). Podali bomo osnove le-tega, saj v Seamu ne potrebujemo naprednega znanja o tej tehnologiji. Nadaljevali bomo s poslovno logiko in predstavitvijo trajnostnega sloja, za katera bomo uporabili javanska zrna EJB (angl. Enterprise Java Beans). V kolikor za uporabo Seama potrebujemo le osnovno znanje ogrodja JSF, je za poslovno logiko potrebno vsaj srednje dobro razumevanje javanskih zrn, saj bomo največ časa razvoja posvetili prav poslovni logiki. Predstavili bomo sejna zrna s stanjem, sejna zrna brez stanja in entitetna zrna, na kratko bomo omenili tudi sporočilna zrna. V osrednjem delu bomo pozornost posvetili kontekstom, predvsem konverzacijskemu kontekstu, ki je v bil prvič predstavljen prav v Seamu, kreiranju kode s seam-gen generatorjem, varnosti ter poslovnemu procesu. Diplomsko delo bomo zaključili z implementacijo in prikazom delovanja spletnih storitev.

Title:	SEAM APPLICATION FRAMEWORK
Abstract:	This work is going to contribute to understanding Seam application framework and included frameworks. We will start by presenting a framework for creating the presentation layer of web applications - Java Server Faces (JSF). We will provide the basic knowledge and architecture of JSF, while in Seam we don’t need advanced knowledge about it. We will continue with the business logic and presentation of persistence tier, for which we will use the JavaBeans (Enterprise Java Beans - EJB). Although we could get away with having a limited or beginner’s understanding of JSF to use Seam, an intermediate knowledge of EJB3 is more desirable, since most of our time, we will focus on development of business logic. We will present the stateful session beans (SFSB), stateless session beans (SLSB), and entity beans (EB). We will also go over the message-driven beans. In the central part of the diploma work we will devote attention to contexts, especially conversation context that stands out in the Seam, generating code with the seam-gen code generator, security and business process. We will complete our diploma work with implementation and demonstration of web services.
