| Abstract: | Germanisms are words that are present in many languages, including the slovene language. They were borowed from the german language into many other languages, including the slovene language. Some slovene dialects were by the borowing of germanisms more receptive as some other dialects in Slovenia. Different share of germanisms in different slovene dialects is a consequence of different factors. The dialect of Prekmurje is one of the dialects in Slovenia, in which we find many germanisms. This dialect of prekmurje distinguishes from other slovene dialects in many specifities. These specifities includes the share of germanisms in the slovene vocabulary, that was formed by different historical, geographical, religios and political factors.The goal of this research was to find out, if there is an equal share in use of germanisms in different subdialects of prekmurje, or is there a difference in reception of these words between different subdialects and generations. From this reason residents of different ages from subdialects of Goričko, Ravensko and Dolinsko were interviewed. |
